Dr. Anusree Paul

Dr. Anusree Paul is Associate Professor and Area-Chair in Economics at BML Munjal University (Hero Group Initiative). She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Calcutta and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Anusree brings over 15 years of research and teaching experience, having taught core and advanced courses such as Advanced Econometrics, Mathematical Economics, Microeconomics, Research Methodology and International Trade across universities in India. She has also served as a Visiting Professor at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), Canada, and collaborated with international partners including the University of Warwick.

An experienced econometrician and data scientist, Dr. Paul works on health, gender, microeconomics and international economics, using advanced cross-section and panel-data models, machine learning and predictive analytics. She has handled a wide range of large datasets (UNCOMTRADE, DESTA, WIOD, PROWESS, NFHS, ASI etc.), led and contributed to multiple consultancy and academic projects, and published widely in indexed journals, book chapters and edited volumes. She has supervised postgraduate and doctoral research, delivered invited lectures and workshops for institutions such as JNU, IIT Kanpur and government training academies, and continues to mentor students in applied econometrics and policy-oriented research.
